Gru confronts new dangers in his return - like going on a date!
Gru returns in Despicable Me 2 as the grumpy and sullen supervillain who became quite a doting father, tender and attentive, in the first installment of this great successful animated film, Despicable Me. This time all his new family, the three small children, have changed since the first part, and of course, also the funny minions.
And thank goodness, because it will be the small, friendly yellow creatures, who'll have to save Gru's bacon when he's are caught between two fronts unknown to him, but from which he can't escape, in Despicable Me 2: being recruited by a supersecret and anti-crime organization. So he's going to be on the side of the good! And worse yet ... he has to face a date with a woman, who's have invited him to dinner at her house!
